Black Helmet

 
There are many advantages of wearing black helmets. In fact it is mandatory for every motorcyclist or bicycle rider to wear a helmet for their safety. Many people still do not agree on the fact that helmets are a must for both the pillion and the rider. The helmet you use must always be of superior quality. After all it is the matter of your life. The main purpose of a helmet is to save your head from injuries, flying or sharp objects. If your helmet is made of inferior quality it may crush the moment it receives a shock and thus your head will also be affected and injured.
 
The outer cover of the helmet needs to be of good quality so that it can withstand lot of pressure and even sharp objects. This is why; helmets manufactured by experienced and reliable companies are preferred. Buying a cheap helmet just because it is priced less can cost you your life. There are many kinds of helmets available in the market. It is best to choose the type that suits and fits you the best so that you are comfortable in it. There are three basic types of helmets. The first and most commonly used is the full faced motorcycle helmet.
 
In this type, as the name suggests, your entire face and head are covered. There is visor or a transparent screen guard in front of your eyes to offer visibility while driving. The visor also protects your eyes from wind, dust, pollen, insects, rain, snow etc. The visor can be either clear in shade or may have a black tint to protect you against the glare of the sun. This is the safest options of all the helmets available as it secures your head and face completely It is a bit heavier as compared to other forms but is equally comfortable to use.
 
The next type is a three quarter motorcycle helmet. This helmet does not cover your entire face, it covers up to nose. The visor is present in the front just like the first type and it does not have a hard shell holding at the chin. This helmet makes it easy in case you want to talk with your pillion. Since it does not have a chin guard, it is not as safe as the first option. Also your face may be affected due to the extreme temperatures if you are driving in strong winds or on a very sunny day.

The last type is the half motorcycle helmets. This is not a very good helmet to choose as neither does it cover your complete head and face nor does it have a visor to protect your eyes. The only advantage of this helmet is that it is extremely light in weight and hence it will save you from neck cramps. But it is as close to not wearing a helmet and hence must be avoided if you are concerned about the safety. Thus, from the three types you could choose any one that matches your requirement but make sure you definitely wear a black helmet to save yourself from fatal accidents.
